The Hempel Group has installed an Ingredient Masters automated batching system at its facility in Poland. The 24-dispenser system also features six minor ingredient stations. The system is CE and ASTEC certified. Hempasil X3, a new fouling release coating from Hempel, won the prestigious Seatrade Award for its contribution to Protection of the Marine and Atmospheric Environment within the shipping industry.
JTM Foods has started up its Ingredient Masters computerized, high-speed meat spice micro batching system, which processes multiple recipes simultaneously. This screw-fed spice batching system is accurate to ±.02 lb. and is ideal for higher volumes of recipe sizes ranging from 10 lbs. to 200 lbs. The system follows an 8-ingredient micro batching system Ingredient Masters installed at JTM’s Cincinnati bakery.
Bear Metallurgical Company has selected Ingredient Masters to build an automated batching system for its high-purity ferroalloy products. The 12-dispenser system will have a capacity of 5000 lbs. and perform at an accuracy of ±1 lb.
CeramTec has awarded a contract to Ingredient Masters for an automated batching system. The system will serve CeramTec’s production site for lasered substrates, insulators, lighting, instrumentation, and components for the welding and textile industries.
Spar, Inc. has completed the manufacture of an 18-unit computerized batching system in Jacksonville, Ala. Spar specializes in caliber shaped and unshaped refractories, including dry vibratables, free flow castables, graphite rams and gunning mixes. Other refractory companies who have recently chosen Ingredient Masters’ batching systems include JW Hicks Inc. and Steward Advanced Materials.
Biosphere Industries has purchased an automated, 5-component batching system for the sequential delivery of dry and liquid materials to a mixer. Bisophere Industries is a leader in the development of environmentally favorable alternative packaging technology. The company provides affordable, commercially viable, biodegradable rigid packaging that’s competitive with heavy paper and plastic disposables.
Dinovite, Inc. has completed installation of a 14-ingredient batching system for their Dinovite® all-natural canine food supplements.
Bar-S Foods—Ingredient Masters has completed manufacture of a 10-ingredient all stainless steel batching system for Bar-S Foods. Bar-S Foods is among the top 40 largest meat processing companies in the US.
Steward Advanced Materials—Ingredient Masters has completed the manufacture of a 5-ingredient batching system with remote programming and diagnostics capabilities. Steward Advanced Materials specializes in the formulation and processing of ceramics, ferrites and other magnetic metals and materials.
Engelhard, a global leader in the manufacture of color pigments, dispersions and universal colorants, has chosen an Ingredient Masters vacuum transfer bulk bag system for a resin chip manufacturing line.
US Gypsum has awarded a major capital equipment project to Ingredient Masters. USG is the world's leading producer of gypsum wallboard, joint compound and other construction and remodeling products. USG is also the global leader in the manufacture of ceiling suspension systems, and the premier supplier of acoustical panels and specialty ceiling systems.
Kodak, the world leader in image-making for information and entertainment, has selected Ingredient Masters to provide a turnkey batch processing system. Kodak had worldwide (2006) sales of $13.3 billion.
Neri Bakery Products, Inc. has chosen Ingredient Masters to engineer and manufacture an automated micro batching system for its bakery blends. Neri Bakery is a unit of George West Limited, Canada, which owns such well-known brands as Boboli, Entenmann's, and Thomas’ and is also a major supplier of Girl Scout cookies in the US.
Pepperidge Farm, which ranks in the top 2 percent of brands worldwide in brand equity, has chosen Ingredient Masters to provide dispenser units for batch processing. Pepperidge Farm has eight production sites throughout the United States.
IBR (Integrated Bakery Resources)—Ingredient Masters has received a contract award from IBR to further increase the company's processing capacity, and increase the interval between filling with bulk bags.
US Gypsum has awarded a second contract, this time for a computerized batching system, to Ingredient Masters.
